Welcome to our first WABI UMALAS project newsletter. As the months progress we will use our newsletter to share with you this inspiring journey through to build completion and commencement of operations. We love to hear from you so if you have any questions or comments please just post it to us using the “contact us” page. It may be many people have a similar question in which case we can use these Updates to clarify to all. Please don’t hesitate to contact us as we will always value your feedback.
We’re now in our third month of construction with bedroom and general living area walls already up and pools undergoing waterproof testing before being finished in a random-patterned Batu Hijau (Greenstone). Looking at them empty you realize just how big a 15 meter pool really is! It’s in these early days of construction that you also can see the quality of workmanship in the sub-structure and structure so if you’re visiting Bali in the next month please make the time to contact us and arrange a site visit. You can talk directly with the Contractor and gain a clearer understanding of how it all comes together, where are the views, how we achieve privacy in each villa without using high walls and indeed any other particular question you may have. As one of our owners commented on his first site inspection; “you can already feel the openness and abundance of space…the design really uses absolutely all the 500 m2 as functional living space”
