Reception
The entrance to reception is framed by a cantilevered body of water which forms the roof to client parking. From their vehicles, clients journey up a ramp entrance through landscaped gardens into the reception area. This building also houses the leisure concierge, client luggage store and management offices. There is a guest bathroom with shower facilities and changing room for guests who have already checked out but wish to spend one last day at the beach before departing for the airport.
The Café and Bar
The Café will be situated along the banks of the river. The heart of this building is the reflective pool set under a rectangular roof aperture. Majestic palms at the end of the pool reach skyward while the whole area is bathed in natural light and dancing reflections. The draw of moisture from the pool provides a natural ventilation and cooling system.
The layout is designed to meet a multitude of uses and includes a 55 M2 room suitable for meetings, dining, exhibitions or even yoga workshops. This room can be enclosed and air conditioned by closing its glazed sliding doors or - as would be the case during a wedding or large function - the doors can be pocketed away enabling an unfettered open space. While the whole complex is wireless internet connected, there is an adjoining communications room which can act as a secondary business center. Outside is a grassed area with loungers along the river bank giving you the opportunity to enjoy a quiet moment.
